Przemysław Lasak is an acclaimed Polish sculptor and ceramic artist, recognized for his exceptional technical mastery and unmistakable artistic authenticity. His work is rooted in life casting from living models, demanding both precision and profound craftsmanship.

Education & Academic Career
Born in 1958 in Opole, Lasak graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 1986, studying under Professor Krystyna Cybińska. He received both the Rector’s Award and the Minister of Culture Award for the best diploma project.
Following graduation, he joined the faculty of his alma mater and, since 2002, has held the title of Full Professor. His artistic practice encompasses ceramics, sculpture, and oil painting.
Artistic Vision
Lasak’s ceramic series often consist of life-size human figures, pushing the material to its expressive limits. His work demonstrates a rare ability to transcend the physical boundaries of clay, achieving a sense of vitality and presence that feels almost impossible within the medium.
Deeply devoted to his vocation, Lasak approaches each piece with passion and dedication. The creative process itself becomes central — a continuous exploration of form, material, and the human condition.
