The opening of the gallery in Chicago proved to be a remarkable success, welcoming over 200 guests to its new location at 6545 W Irving Park Rd. The evening gathered collectors, art enthusiasts, and members of the cultural community to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for the gallery.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the exhibition “Blinkered” by acclaimed Polish artist Łukasz Olek. Guests had the unique opportunity to meet the artist in person and explore his original abstract landscapes, which captivated viewers with their innovative approach to perception and visual analysis.
During the event, works by three young Polish sculptors were also presented: Dariusz Madejski, Monika Osiecka, and Tomasz Koclęga. Their sculptures, exhibited in the convention spaces on October 18–19, 2024, attracted significant interest and offered visitors a preview of the gallery’s broader focus on contemporary art.
The evening created an inspiring atmosphere celebrating artistic dialogue, cultural exchange, and the introduction of contemporary Polish art to the Chicago art scene.
In June 2025, Winnetka Gallery presented the exhibition “Perspectives”, featuring the works of artists Joanna Cislak and Peter Blinick. The opening reception brought together collectors, art enthusiasts, and members of the local cultural community for an evening dedicated to contemporary abstract art and creative exchange.
The exhibition explored the idea of perspective as both a visual and emotional experience. Through expressive compositions, bold color contrasts, and layered textures, the artworks invited visitors to interpret each piece from their own point of view. Vibrant reds, luminous yellows, deep blues, and balanced neutral tones created a dynamic visual dialogue throughout the gallery space.
Guests had the opportunity to meet the artists, engage in conversations about their creative process, and experience the works in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The event also included moments of recognition and appreciation for the artists, emphasizing the collaborative spirit that defines the gallery’s community.
“Perspectives” highlighted how contemporary abstract art can offer multiple ways of seeing and understanding the world. By bringing together distinct artistic voices, the exhibition encouraged reflection, dialogue, and a deeper appreciation of how personal vision shapes artistic expression.
The event became one of the memorable highlights of the gallery’s 2025 program, celebrating creativity, artistic diversity, and the power of art to connect people through shared experience.
