Leszek Bajena
Painting, History & Cultural Dialogue
Leszek Bajena holds a Master’s degree in Painting from the Artistic Department of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, and is a graduate of the Fine Arts Secondary School in Lublin. Painting remains the central medium of his artistic practice, although he explores various visual techniques.
He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, and his works are included in private collections worldwide.
Artistic Focus
A deep interest in history—particularly the complex narratives of Eastern Europe—has shaped much of his creative output. Through years of artistic exploration, he has developed projects and exhibitions addressing historical memory, identity, and cultural coexistence.
Philosophy
Bajena believes art carries educational power. In a world shaped by cultural diversity, he views artistic expression as a bridge between communities. Through painting, he encourages reflection on shared histories and differences, fostering aesthetic sensitivity and spiritual growth.
Cultural diversity, in his view, enriches perception and deepens human understanding — helping us become more open, tolerant, and aware individuals.
