Jerzy Kędziora
Balancing Sculpture & Public Art
Jerzy Marian Kędziora (b. 1947, Częstochowa) is an internationally recognized sculptor, medalist, and designer of interiors and urban spaces. He graduated in 1972 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and has participated in numerous national and international symposia and festivals.
During the 1980s, he created major sculptural cycles addressing social and cultural transformation. Since the 1990s, he has gained international acclaim for his signature “balancing sculptures” — gravity-defying works suspended in public space that have become his artistic hallmark.

His sculptures have been exhibited in Venice, New York, London, Berlin, Madrid, Miami, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, among other cities. Many works are permanently installed in public spaces, museums, government institutions, diplomatic facilities, and private collections worldwide.
Kędziora is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers as well as international organizations including Network Sculpture and Kinetic Art.
